How are the knitting kits packed to ensure materials arrive clean and undamaged? We treat our high-quality fibers with absolute care! Every Elmshine kit is packed inside a moisture-resistant, dust-proof protective interior liner box to prevent yarn from snagging or getting soiled in transit. Your heavy-duty wooden or aluminum needles are secured separately in custom slots, and the entire assembly is shipped inside a sturdy outer corrugated box to guarantee everything arrives spotless, dry, and pristine.

Can I track my shipment? Absolutely. As soon as your order leaves our fulfillment center, you will receive an automated email containing a secure tracking number so you can track your creative package straight to your doorstep.

Kits, Experience & Yarn Care

I have absolutely zero knitting experience. Can I really complete these kits? Yes, 100%! We build Elmshine specifically with absolute beginners in mind. Our "First-Time Maker" series utilizes thick, chunky yarns and oversized needles, which make it incredibly easy to see your stitches and progress rapidly. Combined with our step-by-step visual guidebooks and clear streaming video tutorials, you will master the basic knit and purl stitches in no time.

Does the kit include absolutely everything I need? Yes, all Elmshine kits are entirely self-contained and all-inclusive. Inside your box, you will find the exact required yards of premium yarn, custom-sized ergonomic knitting needles, a tapestry finish needle, stitch markers, and your visual guidebook. You do not need to buy any extra tools to finish your piece.

How should I wash and care for my finished Elmshine hand-knit items? To preserve the premium fiber loft, elasticity, and cloud-soft texture of your handmade piece over time:

  • We highly recommend hand-washing in cold water with a gentle wool wash or baby shampoo.

  • Do not wring or twist the wet fabric. Instead, gently press out excess water between clean dry towels.

  • Lay the item completely flat on a sweater drying rack away from direct sunlight to dry. Never put your finished knit items in a mechanical washer or dryer, as this can cause shrinking and felting.

What is your return policy? We want you to knit with absolute joy! Because our kits involve exact weight-calibrated yarn skeins, delicate specialized tools, and digital video tutorial code access, we accept returns only on completely unopened, un-started kits in their original, pristine condition and factory-sealed product packaging with all external security labels untampered with within 30 days of delivery.
